1. Develop ability to analyze problem, identify and define the computing requirements, which may be appropriate to its solution.
2. To prepare students to undertake careers involving problem solving using computer science and technologies.
3. To prepare students with the knowledge related to Laboratory based studies.
4. Develop ability to pursue advanced studies and research in computer science.
5. To produce entrepreneurs who can innovate and develop software products.
6. To shape the foundation for Higher courses (MSc, MCA, MTech, MPhil, PhD) in Computer Science & its allied fields. The Department of Computer Science of Nabadwip Vidyasagar College has fully equipped air-conditioned programming Lab, Digital Electronics Lab & Microprocessor Lab to meet the needs of the course curriculum. The department also has a departmental library to cater the needs of the students.
