Department of Political Science Nabadwip Vidyasagar College

Political Science, as described by Aristotle, the ‘master Science’ , was introduced in the undergraduate curricula of Nabadwip Vidyasagar College since its inception in 1942. As such the Department , as old as the College itself, has come across the threshold of platinum jubilee in 2017 leaving behind a rich history of academic tradition. The Department has produced over these years several talents who have been placed in the echelons of higher educational and other institutions. The Department, presently comprising of three full-time faculties along with three State-Aided College Teachers (SACT) , offers both Honours and General Courses on the basis of CBCS Curriculum. Besides, the Department encourages its students to regularly hold seminars, publish their works in students’ magazines along with educational excursions and other manifold pursuits academic in nature.
