23rd January Netaji Subhas Birth Anniversary-2018

On January 23, 2018, the NCC Unit of Nabadwip Vidyasagar College observed and celebrated the 122nd birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. On this auspicious day, the respected President of the Governing Body, Sri Biman Krishna Saha, hoisted the National Flag at 9.30 a.m. in the presence of the teachers and students of our college. The National Anthem and the NCC song were sung with utmost reverence. In this program, 108 NCC cadets were selected to participate in the program. After the flag-hoisting ceremony, a collaborative cultural program was organized, featuring the participation of NCC cadets and students from various departments, in the esteemed presence of distinguished guests.

26th of January,2018 – Republic Day Celebration

On the 26th of January,2018 the college and its populace stood together on the college premises to celebrate the Republic-day. The National Flag was hoisted by the respected President of the Governing Body, Sri Biman Krishna Saha, at 9.30 a.m. in presence of the teachers and students of the college. He elucidated unto all the significance of this magnificent day in glowing words. Everyone came together to sing the National Anthem. More than 150 NCC cadets graced the occasion with their presence.

Observation of the Tree Plantation Day – 21st March 2018

To honor our commitment towards mother nature and to augment greenery all around the world. Tree Plantation-day is observed with great enthusiasm and vigor. The year 2018 was no exception. On 21st March, the NCC of Nabadwip Vidyasagar College joined hands with the teacher and student populace to observe and celebrate that very day. The day before was spent cleaning the campus and the adjacent garden. On an auspicious day the students, led by the NCC cadets went about their task of planting saplings and assuring them protection.

Independence  Day Celebration

At Nabadwip Vidyasagar College, Independence Day is celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor. The day usually begins with the hoisting of the national flag by the President of the Governing Body, Sri Biman Krishna Saha. This is followed by singing the national anthem, as well as other patriotic songs including the NCC song. The college is decorated with tri-colored balloons, ribbons, and flags to create a festive atmosphere. Cultural programs such as dance performances, skits, and speeches are organized, and prizes are awarded to the winners. In this glorious program, 110 NCC cadets were selected to participate in the program. Overall, Independence Day celebrations at Nabadwip Vidyasagar College are a great way to instill a sense of national pride and honor the sacrifices made by those who fought for India’s freedom.
